This is the heartwarming moment a grandmother screams with joy on a rollercoaster after being taken on a surprise trip to Disneyland to celebrate beating cancer. Vicki Langfield, 68, from Newberg, Oregon, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in November 2016 and her family had to plead with her to go through chemotherapy. After months of intense chemo and three operations, she was given the all clear by doctors in July 2017 but was left feeling weak and exhausted. In an attempt to lift her spirits, daughter Valerie O’Hara surprised her with a trip to Disneyland booked for April 2018 - giving her the hope she needed to get her on her feet again. Valerie, from Manteca, California, was left stunned watching her mom’s new lease of life at the magical theme park - riding rollercoasters and having photos with all her favorite characters.
