Ride In Worlds Tallest Outdoor Elevator In China

Stepping into the Bailong Elevator, the view doesn’t look too spectacular, with riders facing a sheer concrete wall. But as it rapidly rises, suddenly the stunning Zhangjiajie National Forest Park comes into view. It’s the world’s largest outdoor elevator – standing 326m (1,070ft). The upper 171.4m are above ground and built onto the side of a cliff. And the views are spectacular, looking across the comic-book like landscape of jagged rock formations covered in lush green vegetation. Australian tourist, David Holme, filmed the incredible view as the elevator rapidly rises from underground before revealing the stunning views across the forest.
