Diantae Thomas surprised his father, Lester, at his home in Dothan, Alabama – and the older Thomas’ reaction showed just how much the gift meant to him. Having entered the house and blindfolded his father, Diantae, 25, walked Lester, 56, out onto the street to reveal the gift of a Ford F150. Shocked, Lester yelled, “That’s my truck?!” before leaping into his son’s arms and then breaking down in tears. Lester runs a lawn care operation, and after his previous truck had broken down roughly two years ago, his wife had to drive him to and from work every day. Diantae made it a priority of his to save up enough money so that his father no longer needed his mother to fill this role – a plan he kept secret from the whole family.
