Incredible Hyperrealistic Paintings Time-lapse

This incredible painting of a fish is so realistic it has fooled many people into thinking it was a photo. That’s because it was crafted by a hyperrealism artist, Young-sung Kim, who specializes in creating paintings that to the naked eye look like the real thing. He spends months, sometimes years, agonising over every last detail of the paintings he creates at his studio in Seoul, South Korea. And his artworks can fetch major bucks when bought privately, with each on typically selling for between $20,000 and $100,000. But his hyperrealism skills have not come easily with Kim honing them ever since he was a little boy.
