Childhood Best Friends Reunited After Six Months

A pair of inseparable childhood best friends scream with joy and leap into each other's arms for a long-awaited hug after their mom's planned a surprise reunion for them. Habiba Ahmed and Mikhaela Basilio are both 10 and live in Herndon, Virginia. For around three years, the pair have been inseparable inside and out of school - but when the coronavirus pandemic hit, they were forced to quarantine apart for six months. Habiba and Mikhaela kept in touch digitally, but it wasn't until August 2020 their parents decided to bring them together in person once more. A video of the moment recently went viral on social media one year later, and in the loving footage, Habiba can be seen walking into a play park. There, out of the corner of her eye, she notices Mikhaela walking around a slide and screams with complete shock.
