Kids Surprise Dad For The First Time In Years After He Had To Leave U.S.

Three children who hadn’t seen their dad since he was forced to leave the U.S. flew to his home country to surprise him and reunite after years apart. Yemilin, 23, Luiscarlos, 17 and Galilea, 11, flew from their home in the U.S. where they are citizens to Sibilia, Guatemala, where dad Luis, 47, grew up and had to return to after leaving America in 2016. After Luis had to leave the U.S., it took the kids time to process what had happened and get back on their feet financially, but Yemelin promised one day they would come to see him. When the time came, they had to plan everything with Luis so he was ready for the visit, but they wanted it to be a surprise so gave him the wrong dates and flew down a few days early. As they approached Luis he immediately reacts surprised before the moment hits him and the tears begin to flow – with the kids surrounding him for a long-awaited hug.
