Autumn Johnson and her boyfriend Logan Eby, from Bellingham, Washington, have supported each other through the good times and the bad, having met at Narcotics Anonymous in the summer of 2022. At the time, Logan was three years clean, Autumn five. Over the months that followed that first meeting, the pair realized their relationship was "something special," Autumn said, and they started to plan out a future together. Autumn's heart was warmed by how her two older daughters took to Logan, 28, as if he were their father, and when Autumn fell pregnant in June 2023, Logan thought the baby's birth would be the perfect time to ask for his girlfriend's hand in marriage. After Autumn, 27, had undergone an emergency C-section to welcome her baby daughter, Esmerae, into the world, she was wheeled back into the recovery room.
