Woman Who Tried For Baby For Nine Years Surprised By Mom

A woman who had been trying for a baby for nine years fought back tears when her proud mom flew cross-country to surprise her ahead of the gender reveal. When Kristen Marie Pierce, 30, from Big Spring, Texas, became pregnant, the excitement within the family meant her mom, Stacie, knew she had to travel to celebrate together. Stacie, 51, planned to travel from her home in Stonewall, Louisiana, and called on the help of Kristen's mother-in-law. The night before their big gender reveal party, Kristen's husband, Austin, was secretly informed he needed to collect his mother-in-law from a nearby airport. To avoid suspicion, he said he was collecting a package, while Stacie did her best to avoid contact from her daughter. After being collected on March 28, Stacie discovered her daughter had a doctor’s appointment, and so she traveled to Midland, Texas, with Austin for the big surprise.
