Stepdaughter Stuns Stepdad Naming Baby After Him

A stepdad who "stepped up" to raise his stepdaughter since before she was one was given a beautiful surprise when she named her newborn after him. After coming into stepdaughter Haley Gren's life so early, Brad Cone, 57, from Fairmont, Minnesota, immediately formed a close bond. Brad has always been 'that’ consistent man in Haley’s life, her mom, Vonnie, 52, said, but still encouraged her to have a relationship with her biological dad. And so, when Haley was expecting her first child, she knew she wanted to honor everything Brad had done for her in her life. Having decided on a name for her daughter but not told Brad, she waited until her stepdad walked into her hospital room, on April 7, when he first set eyes on the newborn. Brad read the baby’s name on a card – "Hello, my name is Lennon Bradley" – which caused him to look visibly emotional, while his wife captured the moment on video.
