A teenage girl cried tears of pride when she was surprised with a ride to prom in the same kind of truck that her late father used to drive. Jaycee Alspaugh, 17, from Chillicothe, Ohio, used to ride with her father, Robbie, who tragically died of suicide when Jaycee was just five years old. The experience was extremely tough on Jaycee, who shared a love of horses, motorcycles, trucks and music with her dad, who would take a young Jaycee on weekend trips or the fueling station in the front of his 18-wheeler. Knowing how much of a "Daddy's girl" Jaycee was, her mom, Miriam Scholl, 49, wanted to find a way to honor her father at her high school prom Miriam posted on Facebook, asking if anyone had a big or custom truck that could take Jaycee to prom, and within an hour she received a response from someone who said they could arrange both the truck and a driver. Not wanting to ruin the surprise, Miriam immediately took her post down, before working on the logistics of the moment, which was set to take place on April 25. As Jaycee waited for her ride in her prom dress, she then saw the semi approach, immediately bursting into tears when she realized the significance of the gesture her mom had planned. The truck itself, a Kenworth W900, was the exact kind of truck that Robbie used to drive, and Jaycee then rode up front to prom, where Miriam captured her arrival on video.
