Great-Grandpa Finally Meets Baby He's Only Seen On FaceTime

A couple received the surprise of a lifetime when their granddaughter unexpectedly walked through the door carrying their three-month-old great grandson they'd only ever met through a screen. Stephanie Meredith, 35, from Alexandria, Virginia, welcomed son Jackson on March 17, 2026, but due to health reasons, her grandparents Tony and Carol Oliveri were unable to travel from New York to visit. Instead, Stephanie made it a habit to FaceTime her grandparents every week so they wouldn't miss Jackson's early milestones, from his first coos and smiles to rolling over and playing with toys. The family originally planned to finally introduce Jackson in person during a 4th of July family reunion. However, when Stephanie decided to join her dad on a camping trip in New York, she and her mom orchestrated an elaborate early surprise for June 15.
