Couple's First-Home Closure Ends In Surprise Proposal

A woman moving into her first-ever home with her high school sweetheart couldn't believe her eyes when the garage door opened and revealed a marriage proposal. Mattison Williams, 21, from Coweta, Oklahoma, was closing on her first home with boyfriend Angel Tostado, 22, who she had been with since high school. Over the years, the pair had planned their future side by side, talking about buying their first home, getting married, and eventually starting a family. When that first milestone started coming into fruition, Angel, who first met Mattison when he was 14, started thinking about the second life goal too. He decided he wanted to pop the question on the day of the couple’s home closure, so, having sourced a ring, Angel waited months for the housing paperwork to be finalized.
