Groom Reads Kids Book To Flower Girl And Groomsmen
The mom of a flower girl candidly captured the sweet moment the groom read her daughter a children's book – along with all his engrossed groomsmen too. In the cute footage, Eryn, aged two, is seen sitting at a table while groom Colin Walsh, 29, reads from the book "The Wonky Donkey." Around the rest of the table, however, six of Colin's groomsman decided to join in during story time too. The moment took place on September 18 at the Newport Beach House in Newport, Rhode Island, and was recorded by Eryn's mom, Shannon Fitzgerald, 27, who is Colin's cousin. According to Shannon, Eryn was getting a little antsy waiting for the ceremony to start, and so Colin tried to entertain her by reading the book. The book was actually a gift Colin had gotten Eryn as a thank you for being his flower girl. Shannon said it was funny to see that the groomsmen were just as entertained as her daughter. She later posted the video on her family's social media account, Fitz Family, where Colin's wholesome gesture received millions of views and likes.
