Girl Keeps Running Away As Boyfriend Attempts Proposal On Beach

A boyfriend had to work for his romantic proposal as his girlfriend got "zoomies" on the beach he chose to pop the big question and kept running away before he could get down on one knee. Brien Cocroft, 25, and Erica King, 26, from University Place, Washington, are high school sweethearts, and so Brien knew a beach proposal was perfect for ocean-loving Erica. Having planned an anniversary trip to Gold Beach, Oregon, on the weekend of their anniversary, Brien made sure all of the little touches were perfect. He selected an Airbnb similar in decor to Erica's Nan's beach house – her favorite place – and when the saltwater smell hit, Erica knew they were by the ocean. After having an evening meal in town, the couple headed down to the beach for an evening walk. It was then that Brien had planned to propose, but each time he readied his camera, an excitable Erica started running off down the beach. This happened again and again, with Brien capturing wholesome footage of Erica's joy on video.
