Team USA Paralympian and German Team Husband Reunited In Tokyo

This is the heart-warming moment husband and wife goalball players were reunited at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Team USA goalball player Amanda Dennis had spent 30 days training away from her German goalball player hubby Michael Dennis. But the couple, who are visually impaired, were finally reunited ahead after arriving with their respective teams for the rescheduled Tokyo games in 2021. In the video, Amanda patiently waits as Michael walks with a team guide towards her. As they get close Amanda walks forward into Michael’s arms as they are finally able to give each other a long hug. Leading scorer Amanda and Team USA took home the silver medal at this year’s games, falling to favorites Turkey - after beating them in pool play earlier in the tournament - but playing without Amanda in the final due to injury.
